Sabino Guzman-Perez, 37, is being held without bond on three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon-family violence, and a single count of burglary of a habitation with the intent to commit an assault.
Guzman-Perez is also being held on an immigration detainer at the McLennan County Jail, meaning Immigration and Customs Enforcement ICE would have 48 hours to take the man into custody if he is released from jail for any reason. While inside the home, Guzman-Perez got into an argument with the victim and her boyfriend, pulled out a gun, pointed the weapon at the couple and threatened to kill them both, the arrest warrant states. The couple rushed Guzman-Perez and managed to take the gun away from him, police said. Once again, Guzman-Perez fled the scene before police arrived.
