All All. Sign In. Lesbian TV Series. I never find that many good lists for lesbian couples and representation so I decided to make one of my own. I've rated this list by queer presence in a show: Very gay!
Also includes shows like skam that have a specific queer season. I guess Do it for the couple - shows you only watch for that specific lesbian couple that showed up a few seasons to late, or just don't get a lot of screentime. You probably rather watch their scenes on youtube than endure the whole show as you try to enjoy every gay breadcrumb you get.
Queer-friendly - I decided to add this rating for shows where relationships straight or gay aren't really part of the main plot, the adventure itself, or whatever is going on, is. But in the background, we see plenty of queer people.
The shows are not listed in any specific order. Read the descriptions and see what's your jam, hope you like it! List activity. The L Word: Generation Q. Bette Porter, Shane McCutcheon and Alice Pieszecki intermingle with a younger generation of Los Angelenos experiencing love, heartbreak, sex, setbacks and success. Very gay! I don't think I can name a straight character in this one The title is pretty self-explanatory, a group of lesbians trying to figure out their lives in drama filled LA.
A League of Their Own. This show follows the All-American women's baseball league, it'll make you laugh, it'll make you cry but most importantly it is very, very filled with lesbian characters. It managed to be a comedy masterpiece whilst still being very upfront about the issues these women faced during World War II, while gay acts and being a "sexual invert" were illegal. One thing I loved was that the show is divided in two storylines, showing us not only the perspective of the white women on the team but also Max's, who could only aim as high as the Negro League, that didn't accept women at the time.
