Mitch and his brothers, Mike and Paki grew up in the Yakima Valley. He graduated from West Valley H. He was passionate about helping young athletes reach their highest potential. Mitch was always lending financial help to those who needed it. God was always the center of his life and thoughts. He surrounded himself with scriptures from the kitchen to the bathroom. He was a great role model for many young athletes, leaving lasting positive impressions in their lives.
The bond between Mitch and his identical twin brother Mike was remarkable. Mitch was not only his mentor but his closest and best friend in life. After Paki the oldest brother was involved in a serious accident, Mitch and twin Mike, became a steadfast and vital component in his recovery. My prayers will be with all of you. It was so much of a pleasure to just have been his friend. May the lord be with all of you. God Bless you. I remember Mitch from when I was a kid and he coached us at Yakima Tennis club. I remember him as a very kind man, who was encouraging and also had a great sense of humor despite our childish jokes!. I now live in Chicago but my old friend and tennis partner let me know that he passed away.
