A Louisiana man was sentenced to nearly 20 years in federal prison after taking a girl to Houston, where she was sex trafficked. Isiah Lee Campbell Jr. Lowery announced Friday in a news report.
Campbell pleaded guilty July 26, Senior U. District Judge Sim Lake also ordered Campbell to serve 10 years of supervised release after his prison sentence ends. Court records state that over three weeks in , Campbell took several trips to Houston from Louisiana with the year-old victim to have her engage in commercial sex with adult men.

Law enforcement officers in Harris County stopped Campbell as he was driving a vehicle reported stolen early June 6, , the news release said. The officers found a handgun under his seat and identified the passenger as a runaway girl from Louisiana.
The girl told authorities that Campbell threatened to kill her, took all the money she earned and sexually assaulted her several times. Campbell will stay in custody pending transfer later to a U.
