Auf Wiedersehen, Pet — is a popular British comedy - drama series about a group of seven British migrant construction workers: Wayne, Dennis, Oz, Bomber, Barry, Neville and Moxey, who are living and working on a German building site. A familiar song plays on the radio, a German language version of Sheena Easton 's " 9 to 5 " Neville spots another worker speaking with chargehand Herr Ulrich, who glances back at Neville Oz, Barry, Wayne and Bomber, along with other British workers, including Irish hardnut Magowan, wait outside the site office for Herr Pfister to arrive with their wages.
Oz paces around before grabbing Barry's wrist to check on the time. Neville and Moxey are in the hut. Moxey has a towel over his head as he gets some hot water]. The lads are still waiting for Herr Pfister. Moxey is still under a towel breathing in some Vicks for his cold. A waiter brings them a couple of Blue Lagoons. Two German workers run past the lads who are waiting for their wages in the rain.
Neville opens a can of beer while Bomber looks at a photo in his wallet. He comes through the front door. Dennis, Wayne, Oz and Neville enter. They finally reach the hut. Tracy's choice. Bettina has given her statement to the police. Dagmar is listening in the other office. Dagmar has a word with the Captain behind closed doors. She returns to Dennis. He's in a taxi with Dennis and Helmut. Dennis lights a cigarette. She is unpacking her bags in her hotel room when there is a knock at the door.
She answers it. It's Dennis. Oz is fast asleep and snoring. Wayne wakes up and puts on his dressing down. The toilet cubicle is already in use. Wayne glances at the footwear of the user. Wayne comes back in and starts shaving. Dagmar ducks underwater to hide. Wayne notices two females in flight attendant uniform on the back seat]. Wayne knocks on the door. Dennis is driving with Neville in the front passenger seat.
Bomber and Moxey are both asleep on the back seats. On one of the rural roads, they spot a hitch-hiker]. He joins Neville and Dennis at the bar. Meanwhile, Moxey and Bomber are sat at a nearby table. Also unbeknownst to the others, it's Colin, their hitch-hiker. Several beers later, the lads start singing "Ten Green Bottles". They are approached by the landlord.
