Nicely located near the Parc de la Tete d'Or. Very friendly and helpful personal. Good sized rooms. Hotel is beautiful, very well located, straight on ski tracks and next to all amenities. Room was spacious and well decorated with a kitchen. Kids had their own small bedroom with bunk beds. Food for half board was very good with good choices and good quality products. A few negatives: the path from ski lockers room to the tracks is deadly slippery, they must address this. Rooms did have floor lights and ceiling spotlights make them cold and not cost enough. Bar could be improved to make it more lively with a football table? Spa is not separated enough from reception area and is therefore a bit cold. This was my first hotel in France and when I stepped into the room I thought I was starring in a French comedy. The room had a bed and not much space for anything else; and a bathroom smaller than most wardrobes. However, it's surprising what you can get used to and I quickly adapted to the compact and cosy space.

The staff were great - typically French in being friendly and helpful. Plane arrived late and I missed my train. I walked 1 minute from the Rhone Express shuttle from the airport to the hotel.
