An Algoma Township bank was robbed in August But even his attorney admits it was a scam for which Greenwood never should have fallen. He earlier pleaded to a charge of attempted bank robbery. Greenwood has no criminal record, his attorney said. As part of the sentence, he was placed on three years of probation. During the bank robbery on Aug. He never showed or implied a weapon. Greenwood, of Cadillac, was arrested the next day. Police recovered the stolen money.
