This is the history of Football Club Internazionale Milano , commonly referred to as Internazionale or simply Inter , and colloquially known as Inter Milan outside of Italy, a professional Italian football club based in Milan , Lombardy. The name of the club derives from the wish of its founding members to accept foreign players without limits as well as Italians. It shall be called International, because we are brothers of the world.
