We look forward to showing you our new look! Our campground is just 30 minutes from Chattanooga so we make an ideal destination to take advantage of all the fun activities in the Chattanooga area.
When you visit Bluewater you will see the culmination of a dream of ours that started several years ago. Family members would come down often from Ohio, or up from Florida to vacation here and visit with relatives, making it a special place to all of us.
With that in mind, we purchased the property to keep it in the family. Our long term objective was to completely rebuild the park and develop it into a place that fishermen, camping enthusiasts and boaters alike could truly enjoy. We spent several years developing a plan for this new park, considering ideas and approaches from all angles. One hurdle we faced was finding the time to embark on such an ambitious project.
Finally, in , we were ready to begin. Ambitiously, we closed the park and began construction. Bulldozers cleared the way for many more campsites, complete with FULL Hookups on spacious level concrete pads. Concrete roads were added, along with lighted pathways along the shoreline.
We completely remodeled our rental cabins and added an 18 room lodge in We constructed a brand new Marina. It truly is a little slice of Heaven out here at Bluewaterβ¦where the fish are always biting, and the birds are always singingβ¦ Come on out and visit us.
