The Ohio State University. At a meet and greet at a really nice house in downtown Columbus I read the Green Party candidate for president my list of campaign slogans she should be using. She laughed really hard. I kind of hated it at first, then I hated it less, then I hated it more, and now I hate it less again. For me, the greatest part about Ohio State is the huge amount of options that exist. There is so much to study and learn, so many people to meet and befriend, so many activities to try out.
It is also super cheap and has given me lots of credit hours for classes I took in high school. I love that I can have two majors and two or potentially three minors here, and I love my fields of study.

I did this one. The rallying cry of the Chicano movement seemed appropriate. People showed up for this. After a few minutes it was impossible to tell that any small-fingered fascist had ever been advertised here in the first place. I did another Viva La Raza after class. This one used up an entire stick of chalk. This was really cool for me. It gave me a lot of pride in our community. My petit dejeuner was a crepe served to me by French professor Caroline Noble, who was raising money for the French and Italian Grad Student Association.
I met her again fifteen minutes later for a class on negation, and then headed to Natural Hazards while listening to this episode of my favorite podcast. We learned about climate change and our jovial British professor gave us answers for the first eight questions on the final exam one of which concerns the habits of Stanley Kubrick while he was shooting the Shining. Even if the subject of the meeting had been the US Constitution and the speaker had been James Madison himself, this game would have been more captivating.
