He left a single member of his guard behind, Bjorn the Fell-Handed , who would become the first Great Wolf to lead the Space Wolves in his absence. Russ, along with his brother primarchs Angron and Vulkan , were considered to be the greatest warriors one-on-one amongst the primarchs.
