The BE-2 was called Stability Jane by it's crews, if that alone says anything about it's flight manners. The Caudron trainer was revered by most pilots for being light on it's controls and gentle handling while still being agile enough to be aerobatic. All of these planes were used as trainers later on. You can fly the whole route in less than two hours, wheeee!. Although personally I think it takes away from the feel of the event. You have the groundnet.
