Casa il Rosario, is a property owned by the Dominican Sisters of Charity. It offers a peaceful place to rest and pray, for whoever want to visit the Eternal city. Casa il Rosario is open the whole year, and offers accomodation for families, singles and groups, offering a religious tourism, based on the values of hospitality and of spiritual dialogue.
Every night the guests have to go back into the property before midnight. The property offers to the guests a Chapel, a conference meeting room, an intern garden and a terrace. Bookings at Casa il Rosario must be minimum of two nights and maximum of 10 days. Check in : pm - am arrivals may be allowed outside this window if your travel plans can't be adjusted however this is subject to availability.
The Congregation of the Dominican Sisters of Charity of the Presentation was born in France, in Sainville, in , with a mission based on youth education, service to the sick and poor and service to parishes. Casa il Rosario doesn't serve breakfast in response to the Covid emergency.
Lovely quiet place to retreat to after spending the day in the noise and bustle of Rome. Fantastic breakfast - lots of choice. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Room was very clean, plenty of space. Courtyard garden was pleasant to look out on from the room, and the roof terrace was a bonus! Great value for money. Only reason I'm not giving five stars is that a few things need maintenance - soap dish hanging off the wall in the shower, bedroom door sticking - nothing major, but could be fixed. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast was surprisingly plentiful and varied i've stayed in a few other monasteries before.
