This is our hotel. This unique building stands at just 21 meters long and comes decorated with love. Everything in the hotel has been recycled, handmade and crafted to perfection. The mattress is entirely natural.
Re-formed old steel iron grids create sun blinds on the glass roof, and layers of natural clay plaster and Dutch oak have been applied to the walls.
With carefully considered ventilation it creates a healthier indoor climate. And with stairs that seem to float, each step has been cast and put in place into the structure. The kitchen, with a comfortable lounge, is equipped with a coffee machine, hot running water, dishes, cutlery, a hot plate and a microwave and a small refrigerator.
On the north side, you look out over the IJ, the river that crosses through Amsterdam. To the West, you can see the Orange locks, typical Dutch waterworks where fifty thousand sailing boats, cargo ships and pleasure craft continuously pass-through Amsterdam each year.
And with a five-minute walk to the tram stop, you can reach the centre of Amsterdam in fifteen minutes by public transport or bike.
