I was in the lakes yesterday for the first time this year. Having been rather busy with work recently I have tended to stay closer to home for my trips out with Niki My affectionate pet name for my trusty D not the name of my mistress where do people even find the time anyway, I digress. I had a little sleep in, the first for what feels like some time, so with the lakes being a 2 hour drive away I arrived mid morning and after a little wander to the waterfalls of deepdale beck I ventured over to the shored of Derwent water.
As I was driving over I noticed the sun was doing some nice things with the clouds so I took a chance on being able to capture a shot from Ishmus bay, this was my first time at this location and after a little faffing about trying to find a foreground I settled on these 3 rocks I was hoping to shoot the stone Jetty but it was submerged after the recent rainfall.
Instagram Twitter Flickr Website px. I dont add "casuals" who add me as a number when they dont even Fave one of my photos! I cannot believe how ill mannered and ignorant these "people" are! They are Scalp Hunters! I have friended a lot of people here. Over half of them never respond or friend me back. Im removing them, Its supposed to be a two way thing. Ive just have someone tell me that I use "very strong photoshop" [there words] on my images!
Not true! I dont have it or use it! I dont add items into my photos ever! They are all as taken with lightening or darkening only! Very rarely do I use post processing and I always say when I do. Im a photographer! Not a graphic artist! I use a camera! Lets keep photographs real! I thought I captured the essence of it well, hope you enjoy! See Khaled's Original. Too, you can find the other products in older posts.
I've always been more a Photoshop mistress rather than a skill with in world lighting and windlight, taking photos in front of a white screen and adding backgrounds in Photoshop, then using filters to get the lighting, shadows and color I'm hoping for. While this shows my talent as a graphic designer, it doesn't teach me much about in world photography, and so I'm trying out achieving what I hope for purely with windlight and on location shots.
