Well Andre, I suggest you read thread again and you will see it was not me that started with the disrespectful comments.
Actually I thought my response was very restrained and even thanked the boys for their game reports. Like the old saying goes, people in glass houses should not throw stones. The second half erupted into a far more physical encounter with several Dutch Antillean tackles bordering on criminal. But the young Canadians showed incredible composure and discipline throughout the second half and in the end, found enough space to manufacture another three goals.
Antonio Rago 60 and Cristobal Robles 78 each chipped in with a goal to seal the deserved victory for the Canadians. Canada has now scored thirty goals in four matches while the Canadian goalkeeping tandem of Karam Shergill and Kyle Buxton has been stellar, not allowing a single goal in minutes of play.
An unfortunate deflection left the Grenada keeper stranded and helpless to deny the Canucks from stretching the lead. But when Devin Gunenc and Mohammed Sylla then grabbed another two in two minutes 13, 15 and Antonio Rago converted a well-deserved penalty in minute 22, there was no way back for the Grenadians.
When Sylla scored his second of the night and third of the tournament just before the half, the Canadians knew the three points were theirs. Canadian goalkeeper Karam Shergill, also making his first appearance of the tournament, earned the shut out. All said, we are playing well but the boys are struggling with the extreme heat.
