With almost-white-pale skin and black features, Roanne has a gothic style. Her curly, black hair is worn in a messy, casual fashion. She has a nose ring and large earrings in both ears. Her make-up consists of black eyeliner and eyeshadow, and dark red lipstick.
Her clothing is a simple black dress with a black netting shirt and black boots. She provided the bulimic and vulnerable Salene with free food and acted friendly and understanding, in an attempt to groom her into becoming a prostitute. When Salene refused to repay her "debt," Roanne captured her in a room. Salene was coincidentally freed by Ryan and the two escaped. But after some time, Bray had been snatched forcibly by some renegade warriors and taken to The Void, that is a nightmarish hell due to the extremely poor conditions.
A hooded Bray is told to go to The Mermaid's Booty and meet a contact. Bray meets the owner of the bar, Roanne, who was also previously from the City and somehow ended up in The Void too.
Roanne is revealed to be the contact he was told to meet. She shouts at everyone to leave the bar and leads Bray to where Alice, Shannon and Tiffany are hidden. They help in a rebellion against The Collective. Roanne isn't seen after this but its presumed she is still alive as The Collective would abolish The Void and its inhabitants rehabilitated due to the Mall Rats' influence.
