These things take a little bit of work but parts are readily available from Ron. I provided my phone number and hoped for a call but received nothing. Imagine my surprise when I found the same machine at the flea market! I made an offer and now it's mine. Thanks for starting this thread. Jerry Blais. It should be a good machine. No great rarity, but there was a reason the Standard and the Home were the two most popular models at the time--they both played well [and used the same motor, with the winding shaft lengthened on the Home version], and the cost was moderate.
Both fellows wanted to buy the BK and then one spotted the Edison Standard from this thread. The father bought the BK and the son bought the Standard. Both seemed very interested in the hobby and maybe this Standard will be the machine that helped start a new collector.
