This year has been a whirlwind to say the least. These two were originally planning an October wedding but decided to push it back to With that, we pushed their engagement photos back and actually shot them the week of their original wedding date. Any couple who takes this route - I applaud you one million percent!
Marriage is about the love after all; the party is an added bonus. There are some people that pop in and out of your life at random times. Danielle is one of those people for me. We met what seems like a million years ago and when I found out she was getting married, my heart was seriously exploding with happiness for her.
Then when I found out she wanted ME to be her photographer, I felt so incredibly honored. No one could ever spell my name right for as long as I can remember. Someone who knows how I feel! Needless to say, I liked her right away because of that, but then got to know her and Jon at their engagement session and seriously felt like I was hanging out with old friends.
I was in complete heaven! It was a cooler Fall day, but no where near 30 degrees! Erin and Shawn chose Sapphire Creek Winery to shoot their session, and let me tell you, that venue did not disappoint! There was tons of beautiful scenery in the woods, outdoor fires to get all the cozy Fall feels and a stunning indoor area with floor to ceiling windows, soft, clean colors and, of course, wine!
