Scott Nichol, the superintendent of RCDSB, said the school board is expanding its adult and continuing education programs due to a growing community need, labour market demands and being more accessible for the community.
The Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition program and the English as a Second Language program were expanded as the need for these grew, due to newcomers in the communities.
