As we go through the motions of daily life, we can become disconnected from our-selves; the part of self that feels excited about life, that dreams, and feels wonder. When we are disconnected from ourselves, it is difficult to be connected to others in a way that feels fulfilling. This feeling of separateness can exacerbate symptoms of anxiety and depression.
I have experience working with anxiety, depression, chronic illness, and relational trauma. I believe that many symptoms are the result of trauma from adverse childhood experiences. I am oriented toward somatic and attachment based interventions and I am currently training in AEDP therapy. I am an AEDP level 2 therapist. Through connection to a trusted other, we can heal, and peel back the layers that have covered over the deep-self inside, which is the guiding force to living a flourishing and meaningful life.
