Although I do sorta kinda agree at least based on the perception of outsiders who don't ride. If you didn't bike but when you saw images of mtb riders they were always enduro bros skidding the shit out of corners or risking their lives at the Rampage, you'd probably want them off limits too. I'm not saying it's right or accurate, but to those making the rules the perception of this sport can't make it seem like a positive addition to the natural environment.
