Sorin Hall houses just over students on same-gender floors: Two women-identified floors and one men-identified floor. The dorm also features ample storage space, large windows, and direct access to a recreation and computer room located on the first floor. Sorin Hall is also barrier-free. Osborn, Peterson, and Schilling Residence Hallsβcollectively known as the Hamline Heightsβare three identical buildings, each housing nearly students, and are co-ed communities with carpeted rooms.
Hamline's special-interest communities offer an opportunity for students to live with like-minded individuals and participate in special programming surrounding a theme. Residents living in special-interest communities create and adhere to standards and guidelines for the community and work in collaboration with their resident assistants RAs and staff members to create diverse programming.
