John Harvey Kellogg who felt caffeine was unhealthy, and thus created an alternative of mostly wheat and molasses. Postum is still available, although it is now owned by Kraft Foods. I never had much Postum to begin with. So congrats there, C.
You just put the brown powder in a cup and add water that is boiling. I like it before bed with honey. Maybe you should try Horlicks. I personally find it revolting, but some people fancy it as a malty, pre-bedtime hot drink. I love postum with a little sugar and non-dairy creamer. Just wish it cost less so I could drink it more often. I just finished my morning cup. My favorite drink is iced postum β made like iced coffee. I drank it off and on for years, but havent seen it in stores here Birmingham in several years.
