Hi, we're Hunter and Sarah, a husband-and-wife, luxury wedding photography team. When we walked over the dunes at First Landing State Park, the change was like night and day. The sun was warming our faces, and the mids temperatures made it feel like a warm Spring afternoon. Then, we drove to the side of First Landing that backs up to the intersection of the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
Winds gusting at 30 mph rushed off the cold waters of the Chesapeake and blasted us with an icy wind. Suddenly, our mids afternoon felt like an artic windstorm! But Carly and Grant barely seemed to notice. Whether standing together, or posing separately for a few shots, the wind whipping through their hair or rustling the sea oats at their feet only added drama and romance to their images!
