Her focus with massage includes rehabilitation, body alignment integration, integrated bodywork and health promotion. She also has an advanced certification in Sports massage, and advanced training in postural analysis, yoga therapy, cranio sacral therapy and polarity.
She has had a thriving private practice since Her major areas of study were anatomy, physiology, nutrition, exercise physiology, biomechanics and kinesiology. As a massage therapist Wendy has had experience working with people of all ages. She works with athletes of all ages and abilities form elites to youth, and people with varied needs from overuse, computer athletes, to student tensions, and chronic conditions.
She works with conditions such as tension and stress, rehabilitation of complex or chronic pain issues, orthopedic injuries, surgery pre and post , arthritis, TMD TMJ , etc.
She had the opportunity to work with the US Paralympic cycling team in and at the World Championships and the Paralympics, bringing her invaluable experience in sports massage and with people who have physical disabilities. She feels that all of her endeavors are an opportunity to learn, so she may offer more complete wellness and balance to her clients and to her life.
Her classes of focus were kinesiology and connective tissue massage, as well as teacher mentor. She has offered continuing education in massage since offering workshops for Advanced Techniques of the Posterior Abdominal Wall Musculature and Psoas, Rehabilitation for TMJ, head and neck, Rehabilitation for the shoulder, and Rehabilitation and Mobilization of the pelvis and Sacrum.
