The event, designed to strengthen ICES' international ties, gave guests a behind-the-scenes look at a French university and a chance to immerse themselves in the local culture, while enjoying convivial moments and enriching exchanges.
The event kicked off on Friday morning with a guided tour of the ICES campus, where representatives of the partner universities were able to familiarize themselves with the architecture and organization of a French institution of higher education. They were introduced to the university's various teaching areas, teaching resources and development projects, while exchanging views with members of the academic staff and students.
On Saturday, it was time to relax and get away from it all, with an excursion to the Atlantic coast near Les Sables-d'Olonne. This cultural immersion enabled guests to better understand the living environment of international students who come to study at ICES, while discovering the region's rich natural and maritime heritage.
In addition to visits and cultural discoveries, the Partner Days were an opportunity to consolidate relations between ICES and its international partners.
These exchanges were key moments for considering new opportunities for joint development, and for facilitating the creation of networks between the various institutions present. The two days were spent in a relaxed, convivial atmosphere, with shared meals offering a delicious taste of French gastronomy.
