There will be no publication costs for the authors. The Open Access transformation is based on Subscribe to Open , an alternative model that enables the full Open Access transformation of journals through the continuation of existing subscriptions.
The prerequisite for successful transformation is that subscriptions are continued to the same extent as before. The editors of the Journal of Social Policy Research and the publisher De Gruyter would therefore like to thank all subscribers for their support, which has made the transformation to Open Access possible.
Contributions from the social and economic sciences and related disciplines such as law, history, philosophy and ethics are welcome. The range of topics covered include social security, the link between social policy and inequality, the labor market and employment, social work, pension systems and health care.
Additionally, we welcome contributions on questions of governance in the welfare state and on the theory and practice of social service organizations and social infrastructure in Germany and Europe.
It is published four times a year. The ZSR publishes articles in thematically open issues and special issues. All articles are subject to a double-blind peer review process.
