Buck, 88, of Skaneateles passed away peacefully of natural causes on August 6, at Upstate Community Hospital in Syracuse.
Cecile was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She met Girdon, her beloved husband of 63 years, while attending Penn State University, where she received her B. Her love of family led her to raise 3 children and 2 foster children. After 15 years of running the business with Girdon, she retired to help raise and dote on her 5 grandchildren. Cecile combined her passion for cooking and baking with a love for her Pennsylvania Dutch heritage.
This combination resulted in many varied culinary delights, including summer corn mush, chicken corn soup, Schnitz and Knepp, and rivoli soup. She also enjoyed setting a beautiful table, collecting antiques, and in later years, bird-watching. Cecile is survived by, Husband: Girdon E.
