Global Family Care Network is a non-profit organization that works in Kern County, CA, and around the world to prevent and intercept child trafficking and systematic abuse as well as provide family-based care for young survivors of commercial sexual exploitation and other forms of abuse.
Our programs are community-based and rely on local leaders and institutions, resulting in long-term effectiveness and sustainability. In , Global Family started the Daughter Project Girls' Home DPGH in Bakersfield, and we have cared for hundreds of girls between the ages of 12 and 18 who are survivors of commercial sexual exploitation.
