By working in partnership with communities, institutions, and public spaces all over the metro area, we can share undertold stories, shed new light on our collective past, and help Atlantans better understand each other. The series offers university-level lectures for lifelong learners who seek to expand their knowledge without having to take a final exam. Join us for this 7-week daytime lecture course. Atlanta History Center offers a variety of annual programs that explore and celebrate our shared history.
Our Author Talks aim to connect writers with readers for thought-provoking discussions about life and literature. Collaboratively, we develop historically accurate, culturally relevant, and provocative programs, exhibitions, theatrical productions, lectures, author panels, videos, and a host of other experiences. History comes to life as summer campers explore the past through games, historic simulations, performances, crafts, and hands-on activities throughout our exhibitions, historic houses, and gardens.
