Smoke Signals is the community newsletter for my Tasmanian neighbourhood that was established in by a then resident, who wanted to contribute towards his semi-rural community but was unable to join the local fire brigade due to physical disabilities.

Issue 4 was published in March and features my article on the growing interest of people of all ages towards getting off the beaten track Famous Reporter is a biannual Tasmanian small-press literary magazine published by Walleah Press. Volunteering in Tasmania is a feature that focuses on a woman who volunteers with The Wilderness Society, and a man who is a volunteer firefighter.
