Good location. Luggage needs to be lifted up 5 steps from the road to reach reception and then to be lifted 2 steps to reach elevator. Barring this, excellently mainted hotel, big rooms, bathrooms, no tub , good breakfast.
There is a restaurant serving superb Indian food just 15 metres away called Komasutra. It is very expensive by Indian standards but average by Zurich standards. We travelled to Switzerland and decided to set our base in Zurich. The hotel is a great option for people who want to be nearby the main train station, 2 supermarkets, bars, restaurants and other attractions including the main monasteries and Christams markets - all walking distance.
The breakfast was excellent and provided a brilliant start to the day in an intimate manner. Water was hot at all times. Not too bothersome, but very noticeable. Desk clerk who checked us in had difficulty communicating. Room was not made up by 4 pm one afternoon. Shower mechanism was not user-friendly and wasn't explained. Concierge, Dominik Schneider, was excellent--among the very best we've ever had. Clean room with good location, shopping district and near to main Zurich Hb train station and tram stations.
Front desk staffs were friendly and helpful in booking our tours. Hotel was located within 15min walk from Zurich Main Station. Very convenient to get around city centre by foot. Good selection of food just downstairs and Migros supermarket within 2min walk. Well sized room for family sharing room. Decent breakfast spread, especially loved the crispy bacons. Best location ever right next to the river!!!
Superb view n we r beyond speechless. Perfect for our honeymoon! The staffs were super top notch!! Friendly n helpful to our questions n needs!!! The room was so amazingly clean, NEW, aestheticly beautiful and the toilets too!!! So freaking perfect last stay in Zurich! Wished we stayed there longer!!! Will be back for sure! Love from Indonesia. The staff there is helpful and friendly. The room decor is cozy and nice. I enjoyed the breakfast as well, not very fancy one but healthy and balanced enough to start a day.
