College Station Police say on April 15, they responded to a report of online soliciation of a minor. A year-old said a year-old man, later identified as Dayden Cole Lane, was using Snapchat to communicate with her in a harassing and sexual manner. Police say the messaged were described to be sent in an effort to meet up and engage in sexual intercourse.
The minor says she was introduced to Lane in January while he was at lunch visiting with a relative. On September 25, , detectives received files from his Snapchat and found conversations about the minor with his relative. Detectives say on Dec. Lane said he knew the victim was years-old when he engaged with her and knew it was inappropriate.

Detectives were granted a search warrant on June 18, to Lane's Snapchat. Lane also confirmed that he tried to meet up with the year-old to have sex.
