Therefore, we invite you to share your thoughts about the artists you would like to see on our stages at the Positivus'25 festival! Positivus'25 artist poll. In its sixteen years of existence, the Positivus Festival had never faced such immense challenges as it did yesterday, when news of widespread IT disruptions and the resulting issues in the operations of international airports, banks, and online media swept across the globe.
Unfortunately, these global IT problems caused unexpected changes to the festival's program. The grand show of Saturday's main artist, Jason Derulo, will take place tonight in Lucavsala as planned, but unfortunately, the concerts of Offset and Nothing But Thieves have been canceled. Realizing the immense privilege of being able to enjoy outstanding concerts and other entertainment at this year's Positivus Festival, it is impossible to ignore the mind-boggling war in Ukraine.
This year's festival will feature a unique exhibition, "Ukraine in Miniature," specially brought from Ukraine. With a few weekends left until one of the most awaited festivals this summer, many powerfull names are added to the Positivus festival line-up. Especially notable this year is the presence of several Ukrainian artists at the festival, including the masters of experimental nostalgia Kautkaili and many other younger domestic music names, all gathering alongside the previously announced Jason Derulo, Offset, Nothing But Thieves, Benjamin Clementine, Jacob Collier, and several dozens of other foreign and domestic names.
Celebrating the remaining days until the festival, Positivus Festival announces another addition to the lineup, which, as always, surprises. For British hip-hop fans, the festival offers the rapidly rising British rapper NEMZZZ, who already has no shortage of fans in Latvia, and the even faster-growing local rapper Wiesulis.
Meanwhile, fans of melodic music will be able to enjoy lyrical pop music, modern rock, as well as hear indie music features from Lithuanian pop star Daddy Was a Milkman, the almost sensational Australian duo Royel Otis, and the local modern rock band Satellites LV. It will take place in the usual place, in Riga, Lucavsala on July 19 and The special offer is valid until May 31st, but we recommend not postponing the purchase of tickets until the last moment. Positivus festival has not experienced such diversity in the line-up for a long time, and this summer we can expect a wide range of music genres, including the names of current top artists.
