Vacant Lot Issue in Avondale Many vacant lots showing the low socioeconomics of the area and the lack of care for the upkeep of the community. This proposal will concentrate on providing a solution for one of these lots. The picture on the left demonstrates the abundance of vacant lots in this area. Racial Demographics Avondale is very diverse racially, with a high percentage of people of Asian descent. This diversity was also observed when visiting Avondale. Educational Attainment The majority of Avondale residents did not receive a college degree, and a significant portion of residents have less than a high school education.
