Being the gung-ho parents we were, my friend and I figured that could never happen to us. First up, location. Next location we tried was Petit5. We had been here quite a few times and knew they did parties albeit at a slightly heftier price tag.. I could say a lot about what happened here, most of it rather unpleasant, but suffice it to say language and price were two of the biggest issues here. Location Done. Also, for those, who like me live on survival Korean, they have a lovely lady there I promise I will ask her name when I see her who speaks English and is super helpful.
Near gate one of the market, there are several party and gift bag stores. Most of the party supply stores have the same standard plates, and cups and gaudy decorations. But on this day, I was on the hunt for balloons. The store is right across and looks like this! By the way, I got a ton of those stickers at KRW1, each. Now this awesome party store is three stories high. They also have a wall of ribbon that I must say appeals to the inner like really deep inner neatfreak in me.
If party decorations are what you are looking for though, head right up the stairs. I found a treasure trove of balloons, adorable tablewear disposable of course and any other knick knacks a party may call for. I got this pack of 50 balloons for KRW15, and found out from the very nice man who helped me that they do blow up the balloons for you with their helium tank at KRW2, a balloon.
Slightly pricey if you ask me but hey where are you going to get a helium tank otherwise. Anyway, with my haul from this store, I can finally say we have officially planned a birthday party. Wow hi!
