Kayla has an amazing ability to sense areas of discomfort and catered the treatment to my body, rather than just going through a preset sequence like all other massages I've had in the past. After I gave birth, I had severe tightness and discomfort in my neck and shoulders from carrying the baby and breastfeeding.
After a couple sessions with Kayla and I felt like my old self again. It hurt to even move it at all much less walk. I was given blood thinners I wanted to be off as soon as possible or I wouldn't be allowed to be a assigned my Midwife for my child's birth.
So I looked into help to heal as quickly as possible outside the blood thinners. I saw my chiropractor to help aline my baby and Kayla for lymphatic massages to assist in healing my leg. It was very relaxing and after being in so much pain and shots for treatment, it was such a relief to have an outlet that was pain free. Within even a few sessions my progress was noticeable and so improved. I was able to switch back to my Midwife, and stop taking shots that stings.
Kayla makes you feel very comfortable and I couldn't have turned to better help in my time of need. I get a deep tissue massage in my shoulders and neck every other week, and we are also starting to work on increasing my mobility that was impaired by old injuries. Kayla is respectful and careful with sensitivities, and makes me feel safe with her gentle touch.
