The Port of Harlingen is committed to supporting our local community programs, initiatives and activities that improve the quality of life in and around the Harlingen Ship Channel.
Sponsorships for charitable, business, or civic events must meet the following basic criteria for consideration. The amount of the approved financial or in-kind support is at the discretion of the Director and is commensurate with the benefits to be accrued by the Port.
Approval of sponsorship funds, or the funding level of those approvals shall be considered as one-time approvals. All sponsorship requests must be received at least 4 weeks prior to the event or activity in order to be considered. Requests must either given in person to a Port staff member for process or emailed to amy portofharlingen. All requests must be turned into the Public Relations and Marketing Department and will be evaluated by port leadership.
After reviews and sponsorship determinations, the Public Relations and Marketing Department will contact the requesting organization and provide a response.
