As someone who has suffered from chronic neck and back pain, Dr. Butcher understands the importance of wholistic health and how pain can impact ones mental health and quality of life. She enjoys practicing diversified chiropractic techniques as well as instrument assisted soft tissue mobilizations. She is excited to be back in her hometown serving the community that served her throughout her childhood.
Allison Christie, born and raised in Orillia, made Huntsville her home in Allison was a provincial-level gymnast throughout her childhood and coached the sport for 7 years, working with children from years old. Multiple sports injuries in gymnastics, football and track and field led her to chiropractic care and although she was leery at first, the results were undeniable. Exposure to the art of chiropractic fostered her desire to alleviate pain in all forms.
Co-op placements at Back to Function in Orillia and Able Chiropractic in Huntsville solidified her love for chiropractic and she completed her degree in at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Being pregnant with her first child through her internship at the college created a passion for treating pregnancy related pain. Low back and pelvic pain plagued her pregnancy and it is her mission to ensure women know there are treatments available during such an incredible time in their lives.
Christie is extremely grateful to be part of an all female team and loves serving the community of Huntsville. Anissa Boosamra originally hails from Ottawa, Ontario, where she also completed her undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Psychology at the University of Ottawa in She soon found herself drawn to the natural and gentle approach that chiropractic care offers to those looking for solutions to everyday aches and pains as well as to more severe acute and chronic injuries, and subsequently attended New York Chiropractic College to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, which was awarded in Boosamra established her private practice in Huntsville in , where she has enjoyed becoming part of the warm and caring community of Huntsville.
